Earthquake Safety for Granite Credit Union
Project #2 really made me look at how this class can relate
to my major. In marketing we have to focus on grabbing the action of our audience.
Not all the information of why an earthquake happens, how to prepare, and
safety can be fit on to a brochure. But all the sources can be added as a
reference guide. The audience for this project was my co-workers at Granite
Credit Union. I took the emergency plan already in place and added infographics.
My hope is this brochure provides all the information employees of Granite CU
need to educate themselves, prepare for an earthquake, and know what to do
after an earthquake in a visually appealing medium. The inside of the brochure
is the flow of how to stay safe during and after an earthquake. The cover
includes resources for emergency preparedness, safety kit suggestion, and
contact information needed for employees.
This semester is my last semester before completing my General Associates degree at Salt Lake Community College. I took Intro to Meteorology 1010 to complete my Physical Science credit. Before taking this course I didn’t put any thought into how weather is formed. I have always relied on the 10 o’clock news or weather app on my phone. I will admit that meteorology hasn’t become more interesting to me, but I have a greater understanding of what is behind the info I get from the news and phone app.
